- Beginning of the journey in Capetown: Jérôme meets Andrew Brauteseth, a photographer near the port, they speak of the new image of South Africa (FIFA World Cup and Rugby World Cup), they take a cable.car to 1.600 meters about sea level and they can see the Robben Island where Nelson stayed prisoner for 18 years): then they go to Charly's Bakery and to Andrew's workshop.: they eat a typical barbecue sausage.Later Jérôme meet Joe Schaffers ,the guide in the District 6 Museum: the story of the apartheid , the expulsion of the coloured people, the demolition of their neighborhoods, the prohibition of mixed marriages.Then in the township of Khaelitsha Jérôme meets Sophie (a bed and breakfast manager) and they talk about the life in the township.Then Jérôme is again with Andrew: they visit the vineyard and the cellar (about 280 bottles each year ) and they taste a Grenache wine of 2003.Later Jérôme goes fishing and makes cage diving to see the white shark.Finally Jérôme and a French friend go by bicycle to the Cape of Good Hope, in some place they meet a sharkspotter who is observing the sea and later they enjoy the panorama. Besides we see zooms about the advertising industry in Capetown (a very good place with seaside, mountains for making clips), about the Bo-Kaap neighborhood (Asian influence), about the gay friendly South Africa (the same sex marriage has been accepted in 2006, the gay tourism), about the township of Filippi (the sangomas, the beauty parlor of Fatima the hairdresser which is a place of meeting, about the Ruffest , Max and Sello, two singers of the kwaito music and about the Cap of Good Hope, where a warm stream coming from Mozwmbique meets the cold stream of Benguela and where there are strong winds and waves.—zutterjp48
