Everything's converging!
This episode felt like a farce in a really fantastic way. Typically, a farce is set in one location with many doors, with characters coming in and out at hilarious times. Mistaken identity and physical comedy ensue. The episode was set in Alison's house, during a party. Usually, the mistaken identity arises through the characters' idiocy or convenient timing. Here, it arises from the fact that they are clones, and look exactly like one another. As a result, you get the hilarious hi-jinks but in a more realistic way, more befitting of the show's tone. It makes for a wacky, tense, wonderful ride. The whole thing feels very hyper and energized. It's the perfect vessel for both comedy and character/plot development. Alison tortures her husband and finds out that he is not an agent. I have a strange feeling that she's going to justify it as kinky and that will eventually become a thing between them. He has a really heart-breaking scene at the end. The format is the perfect way for long separate story threads to collide. The one story-line that felt a bit off this episode was the Cosima story, as it was so detached from all the other stuff happening in the episode, although the end makes it seem as though it will be getting very interesting soon. Overall, an epic episode!

A wonderful episode, plays out like a good old fashioned English farce

Quite simply, this is a wonderfully written and directed episode which manages to maintain suspense whilst liberally sprinkling the proceedings with good old fashioned farce.

Tatiana Maslany is busy playing four key roles whilst chaos ensues around her.

It's always a pleasure to see Matt Frewer and he's great here as an eccentric writer and lecturer, Dr. Aldous Leekie.

Special mention must also be made of the very sexy Evelyne Brochu.

Top drawer entertainment.

Pastries and glue

A nice episode with some development, funny and dramatic moments, but still too mild. Would like it stone direct and more brutal. We'll see. That's my opinion, others may be happy with the way things are.

So far, the only redeeming factor is Tatiana Maslany's more than amazing acting and bringing her different characters to ultra-believable separate lives.

The first excellent episode

The sixth episode of "Orphan Black" is the one that made me realise that it's truly a great Tv show. We learned more about the mysterious Neolution and there's the iconic scene between Donnie and Alison in the craft room. The question of the monitors is interesting, and we feel that we are closer to the truth with this episode. The mixing of Sarah, Alison and Beth lives generate a stressful but funny episode. One of the first cloneswap shows us the talent of Maslany and her ability to master each character.
