J.J. Abrams' magic box?
nakrugt22 December 2023
So far it is a mediocre show. There is absolutely nothing new that you have not seen before any other standard and ordinary science-fiction shows or movies.

This very episode reminded me of a Japanese animated movie called "There were 11!". If you have the chance go ahead and watch it.

Photography is so mundane, by the way, you should get some coffee every now and then watching this show.

Cast is fairly adequate, but I believe they were given strict directions, no much improvisation or character differences among them. Characters suffer from Disney politics. You know what I mean.

The VFX, to be polite, should have been designed and rendered much longer.

But the greatest red flag for me is "J. J. Abrams' Magic box": every episode we are given some info, but at the end we are given new secrets to be revealed in the next one.

More Background and an Interesting Episode

I love positive direction that The Ark is taking and how more things are being revealed in this episode. I am not crazy about the Guy on Guy Relationship but I did find that I can overlook that.

Episode went into more detail about the backgrounds of some key character and how it is impacting the travels of The Ark and I believe that is very important in Anchoring the Plot-line of The Ark.

Moreover, If find that dillema that faces the crew does give them the opportunity to pull together with all of the INCREDIBLE Challenges of Long-Term Space Flight and all of the Technology involved in Space Flight.

Looking forward to the next episode!

We Weren't Supposed to Be Awake

The crew of the Ark now has plentiful supply of water from the comet. Pretty soon the crew succumb to hallucinations and it is going through the crew like wildfire.

The medic tries to find the cause of it. Something tells me it could be the new source of water that could had been contaminated.

Meanwhile Garnet is taken into for questioning. She is shown the video footage of the fight where she kills someone. Garnet confesses she is an enhanced clone and the woman who killed the guy was a cloned twin.

The Ark once again has a mystery of the week, some character reveals and then ends with more questions.

It emerges that the impact that damaged the contained material unknown to humans on their earth.

Fourth episode in. The series cannot be taken too seriously but it is an easy watch.
