The movie has been funded by more than 8,000 people, through a crowd-funding platform, at the time being the top money raising documentary in Europe.
The final chorus, singing 'Que sera, sera', hide a cinematographic reference to similar scenes in, at less, two other films: The Book Thief (2013) initial chorus singing 'Kampflied der Nationalsozialisten'; and Cabaret (1972) scene with nazis and people singing 'Tomorrow belongs to me' in some moment of the film. The three scenes start with a beautiful face of a child/young, singing in a quite fervent manner; follows a slow zoom-out over the rest of the singers. Intention or meaning of the similarities and differences between the three scenes are not documented, even not recognized by Isona Passola when asked about it.
