Joyful!

Back to basics film making where a great story is the basis of the film. The friendship between the two Franks is joyous and entertaining to watch. The sublime scenery of Albany adds to this quirky film. At times I was left wondering what would happen next. This movie sits with the long history of Australian comedies such as The Castle, Kenny, Crackerjack etc. The soundtrack was great also and Pigrams music suited the Western Australian feel to this movie. I hadn't been to the movies in awhile and this film reignited my interest in cinema. Im intrigued to see what Morris will do next. Go see it!!

Lovely gentle movie

This is a heart warming movie about male friendship and support, with some laughs along the way. We chanced upon it at our local outdoor cinema and it was a perfect movie for the relaxed outdoor environment.

Shot around the beautiful Albany region, we enjoyed the filmography in addition to Frank's journey through one of the most painful life events a person can go through. Blokes often don't find it easy to reach out to seek help, but luckily for Frank, he finds Frank.

Lovely to watch a gentle human story about 'just life'..If you get tired of glitzy, over polished Hollywood productions, give this little independent movie a go.

ONE FRANK IS ENOUGH - FRANKLY NOT GOOD
movieguy300010 October 2023
Nothing good here, 2 guys just talk about life all the way thru, that's NOT a film or a story it's just life, it's like the director stuck a very cheap camera or old phone and filmed his mates and thought it was a film. Nothing happens, very very slow and boring. The conversations are bad, the dialogue is bad, the photography is shocking, it's extremely bright, the music is bad, no color grade, no story, no real character arc, or story arc, bad acting and just goes nowhere. There's no emotion and when someone gets emotional it doesn't matter and it's contrived because it's hard to care when there is nothing happening, or you're not invested in anything at all. There are sound and editing issues too.

I understand that it might be a micro budget film BUT that's no excuse especially when teens are making exceptional short films on their phones.

2 stars for effort.

A deep portrayal of 2 men with very different lives.
janetmcartney22 January 2024
This is a deep movie about 2 Franks with hilarious moments which happens in everyday lives. Frank (Trevor) is a carefree bloke with a troubled past who has a simple view of life, Frank (Myles) had been a typical hard working family man now facing a drama in his life which is very difficult to deal with.

Both men meet (that's funny itself) and discover some similarities with the free-er Frank helping the soon to be free-er Frank through this time. It was great to see that other people in the audience laughed when I did.

The scenery of the Albany area is spectacular and the pauses for the viewers contemplation about life itself is very important.

The movie finishes, but I wanted part 2. Will there be a sequel?
