Episode 6

Warning: Spoilers
Sometimes bottle episodes of a show can be fun and entertaining and other times they can be absolutely disappointing. This was somewhere in the middle. There were certainly good moments to this episode which heavily focused on a charity auction and a big reveal, but overall it just did not work.

They had all of the characters go borderline sane and Ruby seemed to shift from reasonable to unreasonable minute to minute.

Killing a dog felt like such a drastic and vicious detour for Based on a True Story which is kind of surprising given this is a program about negotiating with a murder for a show.

I Love You, Buzzfeed

Warning: Spoilers
Matt's intervention in the convention has worked. Ava and Nathan's podcast has become a huge hit.

Although there are reservations that a serial murderer is profiting from his crimes or people associated with him. The backlash is swift as companies hosting the podcasts remember the victims of crime.

Nathan hoping to come in to some cash wants to get his dog back. Because of lack of space, he gave it to Simon, Ruby's husband. He likes the dog more than cheating Ruby.

While Ava has problems with Ruby. She found the burner phone and thinks that Matt is the Westside killer. Ruby wants in on the action.

The episode is really about the short lived euphoria that all three experience. The backlash against the podcast is quick as celebrities come out against it. They believe rightly that the podcast is in poor taste.

As for the dog, you knew he was going to buy it. Not to worry Nathan. All dogs go to heaven.

For Matt I reckon his next victims are lining up fast.

I'm done with the series after this episode

Warning: Spoilers
The dog is murdered by Simon. Was loving the show until now. But now I'm done. This was senseless cruelty and not necessary to the plot. Simon should have killed Ruby instead. There was no warning this would happen. The dog is murdered by Simon. Was loving the show until now. But now I'm done. This was senseless cruelty and not necessary to the plot. Ruby Has Utterly Destroyed This Show.
I was finally coming around, and the three leads were bringing me in, but Ruby and now the sister are seriously making me hate watch, but I'm done. I'm no longer watching this show and I'm so tired of Hollywood and their weird fetishes and fantasies being played out on screen.

Every episode someone is having ridiculous fantasies and out of control nonsense that is sickening and disgusting. Why does it always comes to this, no matter the show or movie, every single time?

I'm not sure why these narcissistic egomaniacs think anyone other than psychopaths wants this type of content, and the show had a solid plot without all these fringe pieces added in for nonsensical reasons.

Please morons, if you love money as much as it seems like you do, then stop this insane drivel and go back to decent content soon before we all finally abandon ship.
