Thornton's special included funny stories chronologically though his life. He's a TikToker who uses auto-tune and the catchphrase "In the 90s," which he uses just the right amount. He proves to be a capable stand-up with nimble comedic timing and delightful anecdotes. When it comes to whether this is "clean" comedy, I'd say it's cleaner than most. There's not much swearing compared to most stand-ups, but there's descriptions of pornography and sex. He had an uplifting message about being yourself and a few newer terms around sexuality for the audience to ponder. I laughed and smiled and watched all the way to the end.
