Has-been whose stand-up wasn't good still isn't
Loothor4 January 2024
Rob Schneider has never been more than a mediocre comic actor who happened to fall into the right place at the right time with his SNL run. His standup 30 years ago wasn't particularly original or inspired and 30 years of irrelevance hasn't made him any funnier.

All that's to be learned here is that adding low-hanging unoriginal "political jokes" based on right-wing half-baked propaganda fantasies to an unoriginal and juvenile routine doesn't turn garbage into gold... it just highlights how unoriginal and unfunny right-wing propaganda is.

I guess we all have to earn a living and perhaps Schneider is operating off the idea that people stupid enough to rally for a grammatically-impaired loudmouth fraudster may also be stupid enough to find his uninspired retread schoolboy material funny. If so, I have sympathy for a man whose lack of talent has caught up to him, but not admiration or appreciation. Let the forgetting of this unintelligent, irrelevant and unoriginal boor continue.

this literally made everyone leave the room

Thats right, this cleared out the break room, nobody was laughing, it was just dated cringe comedy, toilet/adult humor. Slow paced. We gave it 20 mins and then people started going back to work, thats right... they left to work at their desk.

I am sure there are some people who would find this trash funny but you could do so much better, go watch some recent stuff by shultz or rock, lots of stuff online these days. I feel bad for the people who watched this, and shudder at those that took a chance paying for this in tampa.

Coworker said it well, Schneider is out of practice. Why spend time watching some letting his knife dull for years, when you could watch, listen and be engaged following someone who is sharp and honed.

Thought it was funny

Always liked Schneider and this was kind of him following his brand of comedy. Clearly takes a lot of jabs at the left and woke culture which is pretty low hanging fruit but no problem if you want to sit with a bowl of popcorn and just laugh at it all via Schneider's perspective. He had some aside stories which referenced previous movies he made like Bigalow and other characters which had good moments. It seemed like the audience responded well to his style of humor as well. I think there is room for Schneider to build upon this set for another return and find success. He's definitely funny and his accents are as good as ever.

Would definitely recommend.

Politically incorrect, thus brilliant

It's so liberating to see a stand-up comedian make fun of all the political correctness that exists both in the US and in Europe while also making fun of himself. He doesn't cross any lines yet mocking Trump and Biden in just the right way. Yes, the show is pretty sexist but hits right where it hurts the most. I understand if many left-wing activists feel offended, but that's because they don't understand humor or can't see themselves objectively. I always thought comedians are Trump-hating, conservative-contemptuous left-wingers. But I was wrong and I love it! I highly recommend this show to all who like to be challenged.
