The main body of the documentary is footage filmed between 2020 and 2023, but there are several sequences that use old footage and pictures to tell their background story. The oldest footage used in the movie goes back to 1992.
Oba Tenga is seen recording their new album in an amazing studio in Northern Spain. This place is Gárate Studios, in Andoáin, and the owner and main sound engineer is Kaki Arkarazo, former rock legend in punk bands such as Kortatu and Negu Gorriak.
The title, "Espacio Vital", comes from a lyric from one of Oba Tenga's songs, "Libre otra vez". They considered using it as a song title or even the new album title, but after they discarded the idea, the director asked to borrow the title for the documentary.
