Games are becoming closer to reality with every new Aaa launch. Every time a big publisher announces a new title, fans can be sure of one thing: they will get a massive visual spectacle. The same is the case with the upcoming action-adventure puzzle game Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. This title is looking miles better than its predecessor and on par with anything publishers like PlayStation launched previously.
Besides visuals, though, there are other aspects of a video game that can elevate the player’s experience. With the story at the center of these titles, sound becomes an important aspect. Music, voice acting, and sound design. Going by its previous installment, Hellblade 2 would surely do it as well as one can imagine. Its VFX director reveals how important these things are for the game.

Playstation has been on a generous streak for a while, with a ton of great games going to PC. We previously had God of War (2018), The Last of Us, Returnal, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Unfortunately for one set of fans, their game won’t be making the cut.
In a recent set of tweets, an industry insider spilled the beans on the possibility of a MediEvil PC port, and it’s not looking good.
MediEvil Will Not Be Making it From Playstation to PC There’s no sign of a MediEvil port from Playstation anytime soon.

After Insomniac Games got hacked back in December of last year, the studio suffered a tremendous amount of information leaked on Reddit and other places. Spider-Man: The Great Web would have been a live-service game with multiple seasons and many content regarding the multiverse and versions of different Spidey villains.
This title could even affect the sales of Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. The multiplayer game will have much content with different villains and alternative universes; this may have been one of the reasons for the cancellation of the game.

Killzone, the now-dead first-person shooter franchise and arguably PlayStation’s flagship shooter title, was one of the most popular shooter games out there. The first was released back in 2004, and the last title came in 2013, but players have constantly been clamoring for a remake.
There have been several PlayStation remakes of popular classic games in recent years, and there will be more in the upcoming year, but sadly, none of them will be Killzone titles. A leaker has claimed that despite several remakes being in the works, Killzone fans will be left empty-handed.

Marvel’s Spider-Man To Meet GTA-Like World Exploration In The 3rd Part? Insomniac Leaks Hint At A Blockbuster Return… (Picture Credit: Youtube)
If you’re even somewhat deep in gaming, you must be aware of what happened to Insomniac Studios recently, and all we can do is wish them strength to come out even better of the mess, releasing mind-bending titles as they’ve always done. For those unversed, Insomniac Games are the people behind games like Marvel’s Spider-Man 1,2, Ratchet and Clank series, and more, and their servers got hacked.
Hackers demanded $2 million (50 Bitcoin) for this ransomware attack. When Insomniac ignored them, they went ahead to leak 1.67 terabytes of company data, including 1.3 million files online revealing a lot about their inside plans.
A lot about Marvel’s Wolverine game was also leaked, actually fuelling the excitement for the same. Why are we explaining all this and not talking about...

It’s been almost two years since the latest Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland premiered in theaters, and although we know the fourth movie is in development and set to come out eventually, the fans of the Web-Crawler aren’t staying on dry land while waiting for another live-action adventure. Last June, we watched ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ a sequel to 2018’s animated hit ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.’ Just like its predecessor, the sequel received universal acclaim, and many critics are noting it as the best candidate for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
Following the release of ‘Across the Spider-Verse,’ Spider-Man fans are now looking forward to the upcoming ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,’ a video game sequel to 2018’s ‘Spider-Man’ and its 2020 spin-off ‘Spider-Man: Milles Morales.’ For the first time ever, the sequel will assemble two Spider-Men as playable characters as they prepare to defend New York City...

Jaume Collet-Serra has a fascinating filmography that gets more and more interesting as time goes on. His debut feature was the aughts horror "House of Wax" remake, but he's now at the helm of the DC superhero movie "Black Adam." While the general public may know him best for his films like the Dwayne Johnson-starring "Jungle Cruise" or the Liam Neeson action thrillers "Unknown," "Non-Stop," "Run All Night," and "The Commuter," to horror fans, he'll always be the man behind "Orphan" and "The Shallows." After his foray into the DC Extended Universe, Jaume Collet-Serra is returning to his thrilling roots with the new film "Carry On."
"Carry On" marks the first collaborative effort between Netflix and Amblin as part of the overall deal Amblin signed with the streaming giant last year. Tj Fixman was behind the screenplay's first draft, with Michael Green providing the finishing touches. No word yet...

Marvel’s Spider-Man is an award-winning title that turned the PlayStation 4 into a must-buy console for many fans of truly great superhero video games. Against all odds, lightning even struck twice with its spin-off sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. In another universe, however, those games may have been associated with Xbox. Mind you, that’s not us trying to add to Marvel’s ever-growing Spider-Verse; it’s an event that almost happened in this reality.

This Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart article contains spoilers.
In addition to its Pixar-like visuals, explosive set pieces, and satirical humor, the Ratchet & Clank series is famous for letting players pull the trigger on some of the most creative weapons in all of gaming. It should come as no surprise to learn, then, that the same is also true for the latest entry, Rift Apart, which is out exclusive for the PS5 with a whopping 20 firearms for you to upgrade and enjoy.
However, with so many weapons at your disposal, you’ll definitely want to know what each gun does so you can master it as quickly as possible. It’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to upgrade all 20 in a single playthrough, so consider this guide your one-stop resource for finding out which Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart weapons are most suited to your playstyle and which to level up first.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart may introduce a dimension jumping mechanic that separates it from the other games in the franchise, but at its heart, Ratchet and Clank is still an action platformer game that sees you travel to various planets, battle the various baddies that inhabit them, and try to complete your arsenal of absurd weaponry.
For now, let’s focus on those planets. As longtime Ratchet & Clank fans know, planets are essentially the levels of the R&c universe. Each has its own unique sense of style, available adventures, and collection of unlockable to uncover that often make it worthwhile to revisit them even after you’ve beaten the main objective.
While Rift Apart largely adheres to that format, it introduces a few twists to the planetary level concept that feels very much in the spirit of classic games in the franchise but also takes advantage of Rift...

From the moment that “Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart” begins — and, in all likelihood, from the moment that it was first conceived — the latest entry in Insomniac Games’ signature franchise is anxiously preoccupied with its own relevance. And there’s a very good reason for that.
A staple of the PlayStation lineup since 2002, the irreverent series of action platformers about a humanoid space lion (or “Lombax”) and his robot sidekick has often been used as an inviting welcome mat to a new generation of console or handheld gaming. In other words, Ratchet and Clank have become the closest thing that Sony has to its own Mario and Luigi: a family-friendly team of mascots whose old-school adventures can be tweaked to showcase fresh technology. The sly grin and eye-popping cartoon graphics of a “Ratchet & Clank” game reassures people that there’s still a lot of future left in their nostalgia. It...

While the Ratchet & Clank series has remained consistently popular over the last 19 years, the franchise has arguably never enjoyed a spotlight as bright as the one Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart finds itself in now.
After all, Rift Apart is not only one of the biggest releases in what could prove to be a year of delays; it’s the latest entry in a key PlayStation franchise developed exclusively for PS5. There are many fans who hope that Rift Apart may just be the PS5 game that properly showcases the power and potential of the next-gen console at a time when incredible circumstances may be preventing other developers from fully utilizing the latest generation of gaming technology.
Well, Rift Apart doesn’t quite achieve PS5 system seller status, but that doesn’t mean it’s not one of the console’s most enjoyable experiences and one of 2021’s best games so far.

Tokyo, May 28 (Ians) Sony is committed to bringing its PlayStation brands and IP to third-party mobile devices, Sony Interactive Entertainment's CEO Jim Ryan has confirmed.
The arrival of Sony's "iconic IP" on mobile platforms will occur by the end of the financial year in March 2022.
Ryan said during an investor relations session that the company plans to launch its major franchises on non-console platforms such as mobiles, encouraged by its "very successful" first steps into the PC gaming market, MacRumors, citing VideoGamesChronicles reported.
The CEO presented research suggesting mobile gaming generated $121 billion worldwide in 2020, compared to $62 billion brought in by the console market and $42 billion generated by the PC gaming market, demonstrating the case for the company to move into mobile gaming.

The moment gamers have been waiting the last 12 months for has finally arrived. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are now in the hands – assuming you managed to get a pre-order in, of course – of those they were intended for, ushering in an all-new generation of adventures boasting unparalleled visual fidelity, performance and scope. Microsoft and Sony may be somewhat late to the party, so to speak, for those who primarily consume their games on high end PC rigs, but with the minimum bar now raised (and last-gen retired), folks from all camps can expect to see publisher and developer alike push the boundaries of what was thought possible.
Naturally, it’ll take some time for those endeavors to bear fruit and, for the moment, at least, platform holders are supplementing the general lack of next-gen exclusives with a bevy of improved and/or upgraded ports. Taking a leaf out of...

The PlayStation 5 is finally out and boasts one of the finest console launch lineups in years. We have critically acclaimed pre-installed platformer Astro’s Playroom (also an amazing showcase for the new DualSense haptics), a jaw-dropping remake of PS3 classic Demon’s Souls, the short but very fun Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and a number of cross-platform heavy hitters like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
It’s a stellar bunch of games, though new purchasers shouldn’t pass up the excellent PlayStation Plus offer that includes many of the last generation’s finest titles. Here’s everything that’s available at no extra cost to subscribers when they purchase a PlayStation 5:
God of War Persona 5 Bloodborne Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Until Dawn The Last of Us Remastered Monster Hunter World The Last Guardian Crash Bandicoot N.

It’s 2020, and Hollywood still can’t get enough of old David Hasselhoff IPs. Three years after Baywatch was rebooted with a starry new cast in 2017, the news has arrived that cult 80s TV series Knight Rider is also now making its way to the big screen.

It looks like Wan will produce, alongside Michael Clear, with former video game writer Tj Fixman, whose credits include Ratchet & Clank and Resistance: Fall of Man, attached to provide the script. Judson Scott will exec produce.

As anyone familiar with the original show will know, Knight Rider followed Hasselhoff’s Michael Knight as he went around fighting crime with his trusty talking car, Kitt. Plot details on the movie reboot have yet to be revealed,...

You better start fan casting your preferred voice for Kitt right now, because Knight Rider is coming to the big screen. Deadline broke the news that Spy Media Group has teamed with James Wan’s production company, Atomic Monster, to adapt the camp classic action TV series into a movie. The film, which also will see Wan’s producing partner Michael Clear attached, has also found a screenwriter in Tj Fixman.
Fixman, who wrote the screenplay for the Ratchet & Clank video game movie in 2016, is attempting to make his own jump to live-action after primarily being writer of video games, which include the Ratchet & Clank series, as well as Resistance 2 and Overstrike.
Knight Rider is of course based on the original NBC television series that ran from 1982 to 1986. Created by Glen A. Larson, the show starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a young man who becomes an off-the-books crime-fighter,...

Ratchet & Clank have finally been given the go-ahead to embark on a new adventure, and we can hardly wait to get our hands on it.
The duo, long considered synonymous with the PlayStation brand, is coming to Sony’s next-gen console at an as-yet to be determined point (though we hope it’s sooner rather than later), with Insomniac once again confirmed to be developing. The studio, which was earlier confirmed in the very same presentation to be working on a brand new Spider-Man title, clearly has its work cut out for it to deliver on two massive first-party games for next-gen, though early signs definitely point to it having everything under control.
Don’t believe us? Just check out the gorgeous visual spectacle for yourselves via the trailer above to see what all the fuss is about.

While E3 might not be happening this year, it looks like the myriad of gaming deals and discounts which kick off in lockstep with the annual convention are back and better than ever. We already reported that the PlayStation Days of Play Sale got underway earlier this week, but we wanted to highlight some of the other games that are available for cheap, as if you’ve been gaming for a while, you’re probably aware there’s a lot of discounts to sift through.
FIFA 20 – With the official reveal for the next title in the long-running franchise just around the corner, it makes sense that EA would discount last year’s stellar entry to a mere $10.
Dark Souls III – It’s not entirely clear if we’ll be getting a fourth Dark Souls game anytime soon, but if you have yet to experience the crushing difficulty for yourself, Dark...

Would our wish list of exclusive launch games convince you to pre-order a PS5?
On the recently launched PS5 website, Sony promised that "the upcoming roster of PS5 launch games" will be revealed soon. At the time of this writing, there have been no launch title exclusives announced for the PlayStation 5. But the fact that Sony has been so tight-lipped about its next-gen console's launch lineup has us hopeful that the company has some major surprises in stores for gamers this year.
Until then, we've put together our own dream selection of PS5 launch titles. Working on the assumption that Sony will have some big exclusive launch titles to draw players over to its new platform, we've tried to keep this list to Aaa exclusives (or at least timed exclusives) to tie in with the PS5 launch.

The beloved duo of Ratchet and Clark are more than deserving of another outing, and here's why...
Back in 2016, Ratchet and Clank made their triumphant debut on PS4. Scratching the platforming itch of long-time fans and scooping up heaps of new players, the latest in the long line of the loveable Lombax’s adventures went on to become the studio’s bestseller.
However, it’s no secret that as of late, sneaky Spidey has snatched that very same crown and left Insomniac Games with a severe case of tunnel vision in the process. With the company's latest masterpiece, Spider-Man PS4, web-zipping its way to groundbreaking success, it comes as no real surprise that the iconic space duo has taken a backseat.
It's a shame things have been so quiet on the Ratchet & Clank front. So, let’s get to exploring exactly why two of PS2’s most esteemed...

Insomniac is showing off its new open-world Vr title “Stormland” at Pax West in Seattle, Oculus announced on Thursday.
A playable demo will be available for the first time at the Oculus Stormland pop-up on Friday, Aug. 31 only. It will be open to the public, not just badge holders, Oculus said.
“Stormland” is a narratively-focused game that promises an expansive world with complete freedom. As an android caretaker on an alien planet, players can bound up cliffs, glide across chasm, fly, battle monolithic guardians, and more. Meanwhile, an entity called the Tempest constantly rearranges the game world, opening up new challenges, areas, and enemies.
In a recent interview with Variety, Insomniac Games said “Stormland” incorporates all of the lessons it learned creating its previous four virtual reality titles, plus its two decades of game development experience.
“Ultimately, this is about taking components of the open world structure and gameplay from ‘Ratchet & Clank,...

“Stormland,” the next virtual reality game from the studio behind “Ratchet & Clank” and the upcoming “Spider-Man” game, is an open-world, narratively driven first-person game that drops you into the rusting body of an android gardener out to save its world.
The Oculus game is also, Oculus VP of content Jason Rubin told Variety, the sort of seachange title that could completely change the way people view virtual reality gaming.
“This is one title that could encourage people to come onto the platform,” he said. “This is a title that could radically change their view of the platform.”
In the game, due out in 2019, players take on the role of an unnamed android caretaker on a mysterious alien planet. When an entity called The Tempest arrives, shattering the android’s body and uprooting the world, the android is tasked with journeying up through layers of cloud seas to find out what happened,...

Insomniac Games is working on a new, untitled Vr game it plans to fully reveal on June 7, according to a developer spotlight video posted by Oculus Thursday.
The studio isn’t sharing many details right now. At the end of the video, there’s an image of a partially illuminated moon on a red background with the tagline, “Reclaim your world,” which suggests a space setting. It will let players go wherever they want, Insomniac said, hinting that it’s some kind of open-world adventure game.
“We’re gonna see a potential for movement and exploration that breaks out of the 2D plane,” Insomniac Games lead designer Mike Daly said.
Insomniac is best known for its classic platformers “Ratchet & Clank” and “Spyro the Dragon,” along with the 2014 open-world shooter “Sunset Overdrive.” It’s currently working on a new “Spider-Man” game that will launch on PlayStation 4 on Sept. 7. The studio...

Every time we hear more about Insomniac and Marvel’s upcoming open-world Spider-Man game, we can’t help but lick our chops in mouth-watering anticipation. Not only is it the first web-slinging title in over four years (Beenox’s bone-crushingly mediocre The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the last entry in the franchise), but it also looks to be a total re-invention of the wall-crawling series. Additionally, it’s being crafted by a proven top-tier developer who cut their teeth with critically acclaimed experiences like Sunset Overdrive, the Ratchet & Clank games and the Resistance franchise. That’s one helluva resume!
On paper, the PS4 exclusive is shaping up to be an absolute belter that’ll likely satiate core fans of the Marvel superhero, as well as bringing a whole new set of admirers into the fold. But what makes the core moment-to-moment Spider-Man experience really tick?

Two relatively big games are free on Playstation Plus this month! See the announcement trailer for Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank below...
For quite some time now, Sony has been gifting Playstation Plus owners with free video games. Usually, they're smaller indie games, but there are those moments when they open the vault to much bigger titles. March is one of those moments, as Sony has made two big-name games, Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank, free to download for this month only!
While Bloodborne is the main attraction here, with it's brutal, dark, action-packed storyline, I'd be remissed if I didn't convey how excited I was for Ratchet & Clank. During the Ratchet & Clank vs Jak & Daxter era of platformers, I was a bigger fan of R&C than I was of J&D. I just loved how Insomniac Games created the characters and put them in these often amusing life or death situations.

'Jungle Book' Dominates Domestically While 'Captain America: Civil War' Explodes in Overseas Opening
It's another weekend on top for Disney's The Jungle Book as the live-action family feature dropped only 31% and made $20 million more than all three newcomers combined. As for said new releases, the kidnapped cat comedy Keanu led the pack over Mother's Day and Ratchet & Clank, though not a single one of them topped $10 million. Meanwhile, Captain America: Civil War led the charge overseas, bringing in a top 15, all-time international opening, though falling just shy of Avengers: Age of Ultron's number from last year. In the #1 position for a third straight weekend, The Jungle Book brought in an estimated $42.4 million as the film's domestic cume climbs to $252 million, well on its way to becoming 2016's fourth $300+ million domestic grosser. Internationally it added another $57.1 million this weekend as its global cume now stands at $684.7 million, moving it into the all-time top 100. In a battle for second with The Huntsman: Winter's War,...

Three new releases hit theaters this weekend as the "official" start of the summer movie season is now just one week away. This year, however, has had more than its share of box office blockbusters ahead of the summer movie season with three films already topping $300 million domestically and a fourth well on its way to doing that same. The fourth film is, of course, Disney's The Jungle Book, which will be unfazed by this week's new offerings as it will maintain the #1 position at the box office for a third straight week in a row. Said new titles vying for a position in the top ten include Warner's comedy Keanu, Open Road's Mother's Day and Gramercy's animated release Ratchet & Clank. Meanwhile, Captain America: Civil War began its international debut just yesterday and is off to a great start, banking $14.9 million from 15 territories, just behind the performance of Avengers: Age of Ultron last year.

Now, with just a few months away until the big premiere, Gramercy has sent us some brand new images and an official poster to build up the hype. You've already seen the poster above but now check out the images below.
I can't tell you how many hours I logged, playing Ratchet and Clank. It's a fantastic and entertaining series with characters that are easy to love. With the movie they're aiming it toward children, as they should. Ratchet & Clank has always been a family friendly title. I'm really pulling for this to be one of the few successful video game to movie films. With a cast big voices featuring Paul Giamatti,...

Two new TV spots have been released for the big screen animated adaptation of the video game Ratchet & Clank. This looks like it will be a fun film that I know at least my kids will enjoy watching.
Ratchet and Clank tells the story of two unlikely heroes as they struggle to stop a vile alien named Chairman Drek from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets, they must join forces with a team of colorful heroes called The Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy. Along the way they'll learn about heroism, friendship, and the importance of discovering one's own identity.
Ratchet & Clank was directed by Kevin Munroe (Tmnt) and co-directed by Jericca Cleland. It also has a great voice cast that includes Sylvester Stallone, John Goodman, Rosario Dawson, Paul Giamatti, and Bella Thorne. The...

By doing so they wanted to spread out throughout the year and hit the other events harder. In return we got a rather good showcase from Microsoft at GamesCom, and Sony surprised us at a rather lesser known event in Paris Games Week. How good was Sony’s conference? Well let’s look into it.

Personally I wasn’t too excited for the event for two reasons. One the event isn’t as large as some others surrounding it. I’m not saying the event is small by any means, but there is a reason why casual fans know what E3 is or GamesCom, but you say Paris Games...
