Society has looked down upon male unemployment for many years. If a woman is a housewife, it’s seen as normal, but the unemployment of a man makes him less manly in the eyes of society. While Wan-yu took on the responsibility of raising her kids, her husband, Pai-jui, suddenly became unemployed. Falling in love is a beautiful part of nature. Marital relationships sometimes disrupt that beautiful natural flow. When one person restricts another person’s emotional freedom and tries to control them, the relationship becomes just a responsibility, and love evaporates like camphor. The Netflix series At the Moment has brought to light such a heartwarming tale of love and marital relationships in episode 7 titled The Promise of Karuizawa. The Promise of Karuizawa follows a married man named Ting-yu and another married woman named Wei-hsi, who find out about their respective spouses cheating on them. They both try to confront their partners about the infidelity, but circumstances bring a twist to their lives, prompting them to embrace their happiness before walking away from their toxic relationships.

At the Moment takes us from a plain old story of deceit to a love story between an alien and a time traveler. Episode 4 isn’t a new story at all; it’s just one of those 2000s rom-com stories repackaged in the era of the pandemic. It’s a bit of a stretch, but the leads have decent chemistry to keep us going. This episode follows a writer named Chih-hsuan, who believes she’s traveled to 2021 from the year 2012 because she graduated about two weeks ago and is 22 in her mind, while physically 32. Soon, she’s going to find the one person who believes her.
Spoilers Ahead
What Happens In The Episode?
Chih-hsuan wakes up every day with a note over her head, surrounded by sheets of information. She happens to be a really popular romance author at age 32, but she doesn’t remember having written any of those books.

Episode 3 of At The Moment is quite difficult to watch because it’s one of those stories, where a character keeps getting deeper into their lies until they can’t tell the truth anymore. For a show that is set in the pandemic, this episode does away with any inhibitions of proximity, which feels odd, to say the least. The leads are a YouTuber named Pao-Lin and a hairdresser named Pei-Ming. Their meet-cute is rather unusual, as is the rest of the story that follows. Let’s quickly get into episode 3 of At The Moment.

What Happens In The Episode?
Pei-Ming is one of those overempathetic guys who needs to help everyone in need. On the subway, he notices an old woman who is carrying a lot of bags and struggling to stand. Seeing a young woman sitting, he requests that she move from her spot, which she does,...

While the first episode of At the Moment was a quaint little story about reality TV and puppy love, episode 2 cranks it up to adult business. According to the Netflix description, this is a story about two “wounded souls” who find themselves crossing paths on a fateful night of unfortunate (or fortunate) incidents. We start off with a single mother who works as a masseuse. She works at home and the night shift just to make ends meet, especially in the pandemic. On top of it all, she has an ex who steals her credit card for money that she supposedly owes him to pay off his gambling debts. On the other hand, there is a man with a hearing aid who is desperate for a connection but hasn’t found a genuine one yet.

At the Moment is a taiwanese series directed by Lien Yi-Chi, Ray Wu, Pin-Chuan Kao, Norris Wong, and Remii Huang.
Today, on Friday, we are introduced to this pleasant yet bittersweet and realistic Taiwanese series about the lives of individuals who, while sharing apartments, lives, spaces, and situations, have much more in common than it seems: they all want to feel that “something more” in this world that, seemingly, wants to deny it.
At the Moment is a series that excels in its photographic quality and manages a dynamic and lively pace in a series that goes beyond being a typical sitcom, putting the camera and waiting for the characters to develop: it is filmed like a cinematic piece, carefully considering each shot and framing, the positioning of light, and more, with great respect for the viewer.

The latest feature from David Fincher, a big-budget drama series from Steven Knight and Shawn Levy, and an Oscar hopeful starring Annette Bening and Jodie Foster are among the standout new additions hitting Netflix in November.
With The Killer, Fincher reteams with Seven writer Andrew Kevin Walker to adapt the graphic novel written by Alexis Nolent. The film, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival this year and debuts on Netflix on Nov. 10, stars Michael Fassbender as a shadowy unnamed assassin and features a cast that includes Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell, Gabriel Polanco, Kerry O’Malley, Emiliano Pernía, Sala Baker, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton.
The Hollywood Reporter‘s review of The Killer described the film as “a satisfyingly retro, location-hopping genre exercise with fisticuffs, gadgets (albeit ones bought from Amazon) and smooth-talking antagonists that all plays like a tongue-in-cheek spoof of James Bond movies.”
