Without pain, it's like you've never loved. So being in love is like being sick. A kind of masochistic illness.

Very nice watch. I really enjoyed seeing a lot of my favorite Taiwanese actors in the same production, was a treat.

Although they have some elements that link some of the characters the stories don't really relate with each other so you could watch only one or skip a few if you wanted and it would affect your understanding of them at all. I did enjoy to watch them all and in order and I loved to see some cameos of the actors of the rest of the episodes in others, but again, didn't affect the story at all.

Each episode contains a story about love or heartbreak and they are very original I might add. The scripts are good quality but I did expect more. It enjoyed it overall but the only problem I had is that when I really loved an episode, I would have loved to have an extended version of it and continued watching more of the story instead of changing to another one the next episode, but that is the format ¿right?

Regardless of that, watch it, you will enjoy it.

Loved the concept!

I really liked the concept of changing the main couples every episode. This concept kept me hooked all the way through, because every episode felt so fresh. I also liked that the stories were diverse.

Some of the episodes were more interesting than others, but I felt that the quality of the episodes was pretty consistent throughout.

I would have wanted the stories to be more intertwined though. There were some occasional moments were different characters from the past episodes showed up and I liked those moments the most. I would have preferred to see more of these scenes, since some of the stories felt unfinished, so it was a little difficult to focus on all the new stories when you were still longing for closure on the past ones.

Not as steamy as netflix made it out to be.

This is basically some love stories that intertwined with each other. For the life of me, how is it that the men sound okay and the women sound funny when speaking mandarin. Netflix had warnings of sex and nudity, but only had 1 sex scene and partial nudity. The only reason I gave it an 8 is because of how funny the women sound in particular one episode where the man won't let the woman in when she asks and then she says something in mandarin that sound funny and then hits him in the head with a box. That was really funny and made me laugh. Otherwise the other episodes were okay except for the one where the man was making all of the decisions for his ex when they got back together again. The result of that was that she left him again. He is a dummy. To domineering. I would recommend it as this was an okay watch.

Amazing series and story telling
johnsonju-037101 April 2024
This series and storytelling has been one of the best I've seen. Nowadays movies and shows are so inconsistent with their storyboarding often rushing or jumping to a new scene or idea so suddenly really taking the viewer out of the show

This series consists of 10 episodes steadily exploring 10 different, but very real stories of love, heartbreak, life challenges, and decisions.

These scenarios are well thought out and well structured really allowing people of all ages and preferences to relate to the characters one way or another.

The roster of characters all exists in this world somewhat intertwined, but not necessarily related in anyway. This way of storytelling creates essentially a type of world building where these characters you saw and liked/disliked or have invested time in are continuing to live their life as you learn and explore these new character's life and personal challenges.

I feel that these stories touch really well on how real these scenarios can be and can/have happened. You may relate to some from past experiences, you may find some stories interesting, you may find some stories heartbreaking, but at the same time realize sometimes life just doesn't go the way you want even if the answer is right there.

Timing, stages of life, work and career, life circumstances, and so much more are displayed in all of these stories.

This series should be watched as an anthology as it is meant to be. It is a collection of stories and a collection of life events that can and has happened.

I see some reviews complaining why there are different characters or why the previous characters become background characters or story is not completely finished, but that is the purpose of this series.

Each episode depicts a type of story about love and life then life goes on as new stories are told. Previous characters lives on and their story is not finished just because the episode is done. They show up as everyday people living their life in new episodes and we see some characters intertwine through their own history or through their career or just their coincidence just like how life goes.
