Great Family Show
amandagarside315 June 2014
it is becoming far too common now to sit down as a family, yes parents with teenage children and thoroughly enjoy a TV series and talk about for a long time after. Too look forward to the next episode when we all sit down together again, and as you are pulled into the characters world - TO FIND OUT THE SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED. This is incredibly disappointing for us all. Why in the future will we sit and watch any new series your TV company broadcasts. I for one will not - it is just not worth the hassle and emotional commitment. I will stick to Coronation Street, how long as that being going, oh yes 50 + years. Yes, a good story is timeless - learn from Granada.

I and my four girls will be joining the twitter campaign tomorrow to push for a second series or get someone else to take it on.

Best pilot I've watched
dsbeers6 June 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This was the best pilot episode of any show I've ever watched. I was entirely hooked on it from the start. It has my two favorite things - sci-fi and romance - in a perfect blend. This first episode evoked so many emotions in me. It is the first time that the whole week that I had to wait for the next episode seemed so long! There really wasn't any part of it that I didn't love. In the first few minutes when Emery saves Roman by bringing him a blanket and then giving him spaghetti to eat was so touching that it brought tears to my eyes. When the Atrian 7 arrive at the school and the protesters are out there, it was a reminder to us all of what it was like for African Americans. It reminds us that prejudice is an ugly thing! When I watched this with my daughter we ended up having a conversation about racism and integration.

Outstanding! Captivating! Warning: Spoilers
This episode was AMAZING! It was so captivating and it drew me in to the whole series. I waited months to finally see the pilot and it didn't disappoint.

One of the best episodes of the series and one of the best shows on TV.

This show is not just a sci-fi show. It is a about love, friendship and equality. It shows the struggle by atrians to belong as well as everyday dramas in the life of teenagers.

The chemistry between Roman and Emery is addictive. This show leaves you wanting more.

Some of my favourite scenes are:

  • The shed scene between Roman and Emery (She is so kind: giving him a blanket and some cold spaghetti. Little Roman is so cute in this scene.)

  • The roof top garden scene in the sector when Emery discovers who Roman is

  • The hand to hand scene after they run away from the cops

Overall: The episode was absolutely amazing. 10 STARS! STARGAZER FOREVER!

Terrible terrible terrible...MadTV's Pretty White People with Problems...with Aliens.
LeatherCajun14 June 2021
The acting and writing are awful. The BIG CRISIS of the 1 hour pilot is if 7 aliens can successfully go to the school carnivale, with 100s of other students. These aliens have no scary powers and instead of looking like the squids from Galaxy Quest, are actually the prettiest young male and females in the cast. Their alieness is signified by the lightest prettiest mildest tribal tattoos you can imagine. NO BACKSTORY for the aliens even hinted at in this pilot episode. The original Roswell is The Sopranos compared to this.
