Jeneece has overcome a diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis to become an inspiration. Diagnosed at 3 years old with this debilitating disease that causes tumor growth on nerve pathways in the body, she's had over a dozen dangerous surgeries. Jeneece wanted to help others like herself, so at age 7 she started her first penny drive and raised $164 dollars. At 8, she raised over $52,000. By 15, Jeneece had raised one million dollars. But she had a bigger plan and now, after a 2 year, 5.5 million dollar fund-raising campaign, Jeneece Place has opened - a home for kids & families who are visiting hospital for treatment. Now her friends and family feel it's time Jeneece has something that's just for her.
