Olga and Igor have been married for a long time, they have an adult daughter Masha. Nothing foreshadowed changes in their small Moscow apartment, until Igor became interested in his daughter's girlfriend, Ksyusha. Olga behaved decisively - put Igor out of the door and filed for divorce. Igor was forced to move in with his chosen one and her imposing mother Irina, his age. But soon he had to return to his wife's apartment. And then Masha fell in love, and, as luck would have it, her boyfriend Kirill turned out to be a nonresident. Living together in close quarters forces the heroes to look for an unusual way out of the situation. Parents decide to sacrifice themselves for the sake of their daughter's happiness and begin to look for new life partners who are not burdened with the "apartment issue".
