- Suddenly the world comes to a standstill in March 2020. Véra finds herself alone in her friend Hortense's apartment during the lock-down in Paris. The forced break with her boyfriend Mehdi is actually not entirely inconvenient.
- In March 2020, when the Covid pandemic swept through Europe, life in France also came to a standstill from one day to the next. People are shaken. On the evening of the lock-down in Paris, Véra, a lawyer specializing in employment law from Montpellier in her mid-30s, stands helplessly in front of her mother, who won't let her into the apartment: her father is coughing and has the chills - a precautionary measure. What should she do now? Where should she go in the middle of the night? Luckily, Véra has the keys to the apartment of her friend Hortense, who herself was affected by Covid at an early stage and is stuck in her brother's house in the provinces. Over the next few days, Véra repeatedly postpones her departure from Paris, partly because the forced break from her boyfriend Mehdi and the issue of having children, which is putting a strain on their relationship, is not entirely inconvenient. Despite social distancing rules, compulsory masks and video conferences with stressed clients, she quickly adapts to the new situation. But then, in a moment of carelessness, she bumps into a kitchen cupboard and bleeds profusely from the head. Véra becomes increasingly panicked and tries to find help. But she can't reach anyone, neither the neighbors nor the completely overloaded emergency services. Then Sam, an acquaintance of Hortense's whom she had met shortly before, becomes her savior. The injury is bandaged and a closeness develops between Véra and Sam that turns into attraction. She spontaneously kisses him and the couple are caught up in the intensity of the situation. Passion blossoms between Véra and Sam as they navigate the uncertain times of lock-down, withdrawn in their cocoon of love. Until the outside world breaks into their isolated togetherness and their happiness threatens to shatter.—Arte
