the revival off...
ops-5253510 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Old criminal cases and trials told through one of the most groundbreaking female prosecuters words, is the playbook umbrellaysing the hard core of true life crime in this tv series.

There aint much that draws this production down, it has nearly all the elements a perfect serie of such should have, im just exhausted by the length of introduction in each episode, and their use of '' coming up'' before the commercial break...its not unique for this series, its actually quite generalized in the american tv market and it ruins some of the shock and awe effect of great tlc tv...skip telling the next chapter before the break, you wont loose the audience...

some of the episodes are really cruel stories, and ill bend to my knees in respect to all them parents and families that has lost a loved one, cause you really cant feel the way theyve felt since then. They are the real survivors and should be proud to be able to tell...

so pay that respect producers towards the victims and loved ones when making tlc-tv, the grumpy old man awards 9/10 stars .

Siegler on Siegler
motionsickness-5356118 January 2024
I mean, what you're really getting is Siegler on Siegler, and she does not carry a show the way someone like Kenda could. Most folks who vie for the spotlight like she has can be pretty narcissistic and listening to an hour of that gets old fast... Siegler comes off as painfully ignorant at times; she's incredibly conservative and kind of ridiculous, like how she ignores the science behind why adolescents should not be tried as adults.

As far a true crime is concerned, it's just not interesting in the way any way that makes it worth watching... these crimes have been covered on other shows before, with better production, and either more involvement in explaining the crime - opportunity and motive - or the legal side of things, which this show just lacks.

I guess this would be great viewing if you're a boomer that needs to be hit over the head with repetitive crap and have your confirmation bias reflected back at you.
