- Jaime entrusts a task to Brienne. Daenerys frees Meereen. Jon is given permission to lead a group of Night's Watchmen to Craster's Keep. Bran and company are taken hostage.
- Daenerys easily conquers Meereen and shows just what she's prepared to do to those who defy her. Bronn tells Jaime he is certain Tyrion had nothing to do with Joffrey's death. He visits his brother in his cell and comes away believing the same, but Cersei won't even discuss the possibility with him. Jaime asks Brienne to find Sansa and gives her his new sword, which she names Oathkeeper. Olenna counsels Margaery as to the next steps needed for her to remain Queen. At Castle Black, Jon Snow receives permission to take volunteers 60 miles north to stop their former members who rebelled from talking to Mance Rayder's army. Bran is taken prisoner by Karl Tanner and the mutineers who have taken over Craster's Keep. The identity of Joffrey's killers is revealed.—garykmcd
- Scorned by vengeance-obsessed lover Cersei, who demands he helps murder Tyrion, Jaime visits their brother in jail, dares not help either side but continues his fencing and dirty fighting lessons from Bronn and equips Brienne, even with his Valyrian sword, which they name Oathkeeper, sending her to continue her pledged quest to rescue Sansa, whom Littlefinger patiently explains the cynical paradoxes of power opportunism and treason. At Castle Black only the hope of eliminating a potential rival convinces the acting watch commander to allow Jon recruiting a surprising sixty volunteers on his dangerous mission to prevent king Mance finding out their numeric weakness. Boy king in waiting Tommen enjoys an nocturnal visit from his recuperated bride Maergery, into whom Olena confided she had Joffrey poisoned by Petyr. Mutinous Tanner clan chief Karl terrorizes his prisoners at Craster's Keep till Bran reveals being the Stark heir, hence a priceless hostage. In Meereen, Grey Worm and other Unsullied infiltrate to bring slaves weapons and courage for a rebellion, after which masters are brutally murdered as Daenerys's version of 'justice'.—KGF Vissers
- Daenerys easily captures Meereen, assisted by a slave revolt. Seeking justice for 163 slain slave children, she nails 163 masters to the same road posts. At sea, Littlefinger reveals his complicity in Joffrey's death to Sansa. Before leaving King's Landing, Olenna implies to Margaery that she poisoned Joffrey. She urges Margaery to marry Tommen before Cersei can turn him against her. Jaime believes Tyrion is innocent, but Cersei is adamant he is guilty and also orders Jaime to locate and kill Sansa as an accomplice. Jaime instead sends Brienne to find and protect Sansa, presenting her with new armor, his Valyrian sword, horses and Podrick Payne as her squire. In the North, hoping to eliminate Jon, Alliser Thorne and Janos Slynt agree to allow Jon to lead the expedition against the mutineers. Unknown to Jon, the mutineers have captured Bran and his companions. Further north, a White Walker takes Craster's last newborn son to a secret ritual site where he is transformed into a Walker.
- Daenerys successfully captures Meereen in the middle of a slave revolt (some of the Unsullied enter the city dressed as slaves via the city sewers. The unsullied meet the slave leaders and tell them their story of how Daenerys liberated them from slavery of their own masters. They also deliver the weapons for the slaves of Meereen to fight) and immediately seeks justice for the slain slave children by nailing 163 masters to road posts. Daenerys is welcomed into the city as Mhysa. Barristan advises mercy for the masters, but Daenerys is firm that she will deliver justice. She occupies the highest room of the pyramid in Meereen. Missandei is helping teach Grey Worm to read.
At sea on their way to the Eyrie, Littlefinger tells Sansa that he was complicit in Joffrey's death. He tells Sansa that he used her to smuggle the poison (it was inside the necklace that Dontos gave her) inside the Wedding ceremony and so she is implicit in Joffrey's murder. He also says that he has new allies, who very much wanted Joffrey dead. Before leaving King's Landing, Olenna implies to Margaery that she poisoned Joffrey (coz she didn't want Margaery to marry a monster like Joffrey). She wants Margaery to seduce and control Tommen before Cersei can turn him against her.
Jaime continues to train with Bronn. Jaime believes Tyrion is innocent (Bronn tells Jaime that at Eyrie, Tyrion first choice of a champion was Jamie, before Bronn stood up for him. as he was sure that his brother would ride day and night to come and fight for him). Jaime meets Tyrion in the dungeons. Jaime cant set Tyrion free, but Tyrion insists that he didn't kill Joffrey. Cersei is adamant Tyrion is guilty (she also wonders that maybe Catelyn set Jaime free so that he could kill Joffrey and win the war for the Starks) and orders Jaime to find and kill Sansa. Jaime instead tasks Brienne with finding and protecting Sansa, presenting her with a new suit of armor and his Valyrian sword, that she names OathKeeper. Podrick is to be her squire.
Margaery starts visiting Tommen alone at night, asking him to keep it a secret from Cersei.
In the North Jon starts training the rangers for the attack from Wildlings. The Castle is fortified with additional defenses. Jon makes friends with Locke (Noah Taylor). Locke has reached the Castle Black as well, looking for the Stark boys, but Job doesn't know this. He lies to Jon that he was caught stealing something, and chose the wall instead of losing his hand. in an effort to get rid of Jon, Lord Commander Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale) and Janos Slynt (Dominic Carter) conspire to have Jon lead an expedition against the mutineers. They know Jon is loved by everyone and soon there will be a choosing of the new commander as Measter Aemon will demand it. Sam also tells Jon that he met Bran and that he is headed North of the Wall to find the 3 eyed raven. They reckon maybe Bran is at Craster's keep. Meanwhile the mutineers are led by Karl (Burn Gorman). Karl forces Rast to deliver the latest boy baby born to Craster's wives to the white walkers. Bran and his party are nearby to where Rast kept the baby and ran away. BRan enters his dire-wolf to investigate, but he only finds Jon's dire-wolf Ghost caged. Bran and the rest go to the Craster's next morning and see Night's watch men raping Craster's women. They are discovered and captured. BRan reveals his identity to Karl, when Jojen has a stroke and Karl wont let Meera help him.. Alliser allows only volunteers to go with Jon. Locke decides to join Jon in his quest, along with many other volunteers. Craster's keep is 60 miles from the wall.
