- DENIED is a film about EQUALITY. Its a story of two male police officers,who are also a loving couple. One is a Homicide Detective and the younger is a Patrolman. The Patrolman is killed in the line of duty, leaving Andrew(Homicide Detective) to deal with Alex's(Patrolman) hateful family, hospital rules and bigoted Brothers in Blue. - On a night just like any other, one cop responds to 911 call while his significant other investigates a homicide on the other side of town. While Andrew and Det. McGuinness are looking at a body, a radio dispatch call informs them that an officer has been shot. Andrews husband, Alex, is being transported to the hospital.
Andrew races off to the hospital, where he encounters one maddening obstacle after another as he attempts to reach his husband. A simple actto be there for a loved one, is opposed to by manythe hospital staff, the injured Alex's family, even others in Andrews own department.
Andrew struggles to deal with his own feelings of loss even as he attempts to respect his partners familys wishes.
