Wanda, a twenty-five-year-old directing student at a film school, posts a music video online whose main characters are her parents, just as she remembers them from her childhood. This is not a very favorable vision, especially for her father, whom Wanda remembers as an alcohol-abusing brawler. It's no wonder that parents are outraged after seeing the music video. Especially since the place where the video was shot was their apartment, which makes them feel robbed of their privacy. An unexpected effect of the music video is the decision of Wanda's mother, who decides to renovate the apartment and, above all, remove the "eternal" wainscoting, which for her is a symbol of embarrassment and stagnation in life. The family is against change. The mother starts a fight with the rest of the family for the right to make changes in her own life that she considers important. Meanwhile, Wanda reports her mother's "rebellion" as the topic of her diploma film.
