Peterson worked as an accountant, he was deeply religious, a gun enthusiast and a movie buff. He dreamed of being a movie star, so he booked a slot on a public access station and recruited family, friends and viewers to costar in schlocky, no-budget productions, which became a familiar staple of programming on ACTV-21 for nearly two decades.
