Jessie, thinks she's found a new passion for her dead-end job at the local cinema. In reality, she's found a passion for the new employee, Brianna. Jessie, a 24-year-old aspiring musician, spends her days working at the local indie cinema, avoiding her hopes and dreams and silently struggling to overcome her writer's block. That is until she's tasked with training the new employee: local indie musician and, coincidentally, Jessie's musical idol, Brianna James. Training Brianna gives Jessie a new found purpose; work has meaning again, and Jessie's writer's block falls away. It's perfect. Until lines start to blur, and Jessie realizes she isn't just a fan of Brianna's... she's in love with her. And also she can't stop hearing music in her head.
