Sex & Nudity
- Rick and Michonne are shown making love right at the start of the episode. The act is initially out of focus, and both are obscured by a blanket so no nudity is shown, although gentle thrusting is seen.
Violence & Gore
- Rick stabs Major General Beale throw the hand with a sword, before driving it deeper into his heart while it's still in his hand, subsequent killing him. Beale is later seen as a walker when Rick and Michonne use him to set off dozens of grenades.
- There is a pretty vicious fight between Rick and a CRM soldier at one point. Blood is seen on Rick's face after several heavy hits, one of which causes a blood spray on the wall after being punched in the mouth. The fight ends once Rick manages to fatally bash a part of the soldier's face in with his metal hand, the full result of his brutality shown later when the bloodied soldier is seen as a walker. Half of his face is torn and beaten, with flesh and muscle seen hanging of it.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- At one point, a small horde almost overruns Rick, swarming him into a storage container. We are led to believe that Rick kills the walkers and, by extension, himself with a grenade to avoid being devoured, with Michonne freezing in shock for several seconds at the thought of losing him again. Fortunately the walkers take the brunt of the blast, and he is shown bloodied and shaken, but alive.
