Wild Fantasy Turkish Swashbuckler with some Graphic Gore

My vote is for the excellent digital transfer I believe from Fanatik Dijital Görüntü Sistemleri.

There are MANY MANY Turkish films from the 1960s-1980s that boast fantastical sets and setting and costumes. Fully 1/3 of them, likely, star Cuneyt Arkin, who is frequently shirtless, in bondage, tortured, and sword fighting.

This film is from he later years, so while he does all of the above, it turns out he is a heroic father, who is fighting an evil king along with his son. It appears the son at first does not know Cuneyt is his father.

Father winds up in a slave galley rowing a ship, before freeing all the slaves. Son winds up in a dungeon in a leather hood, only to be freed and replaced by his father, whom, in the hood, takes his son's place and has his eyes burned out. Father then mysteriously, though blind, is able to shoot a bow accurately using hearing.

I don't speak Turkish and have found no subtitles or even decent summary in Turkish that I can google translate.

However, if you like very brightly colored costumes on both actors and actresses, fantasy medieval settings, lots of Papier-mâché rocks, three be-headings (along with blind dad identifying the heads by touching their faces), bare chested men though overly covered women, sword fights, fist fights, whip fights, horse fights, etc. This is a film for you. Check it out if you can find the high quality DVD.
