Victor Moore is such an effeminate wimp that he can't join the Palm Beach Athletic Club... until the ghost of an ancestor in chaps visits him in his dream and orders him to shape up.

If you remember Victor Moore, it's probably from his appearances in SWING TIME and other movies of the 1930s and 1940s in which he played a meek, quavery-voiced old man who was very funny. Before that he was a big Broadway star who was lured into making some short subjects for Paramount in the late Teens. Here, his comic transformation from wimp to wild man is very nicely handled, with some wild and silly gags. This one is definitely worth your time.
