I had the pleasure of catching this in NYC in person and it was an honor to hear from Keone & Mari in person. The production behind this was brilliant, from the cinematography to the cast and the choreography is the star of the show.
It's such a gem in independent cinema to see these two filmmakers tackle something like this through dance.
The film made me cry, laugh and cheer them on throughout the five stages of grief. I won't say much more since I think you'd have to watch it yourself to get the whole story.
The pacing, the intimate storytelling and the subtle approach in the edits were well crafted and of masterclass quality. Props all around to this crew.
