It’s the Domino Effect. Ever heard of it? Colin Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during the national anthem in 2016 could very well be called the inciting source of this particular effect as it’s happening now, and I’ll go into greater explanation in a moment. As of now however the entire NFL is on constant notice that some people are going to stand by their sides and the others are going to turn away thanks to Kaepernick’s non-violent but ill-timed protest. Had he decided to take a knee during the off season or perhaps before or after the anthem and the

On social media Ryan Reynolds is a pure entertainer. The Deadpool joker took to twitter yesterday to send out a cryptic message… so cryptic it didn’t take long before his adoring followers soon cottoned on to what he was trying to say.

Quite cleverly, Reynolds released just a photo of some carefully placed and edited dominos and simply announced, Domino effect. This was Reynolds’ crafty way of announcing the casting of Atlanta actress, Zazie Beetz, in the role Domino aka Neena Thurman in the upcoming, as yet untitled Deadpool sequel. If you look closely enough to the image, you will see her name spelt out.

Ever since the end credits stinger of Deadpool faded off the screen, fans were speculating who would be playing future warrior, and owner of the biggest shoulder pads in comics, Cable in the highly anticipated sequel. Stephen Lang, Russell Crowe, Pierce Brosnan, Kyle Chandler, and Stranger Things’ David Harbour have had their names associated with the role, but with all eyes on Cable, another casting announcement has snuck up on us. Taking to Twitter, the Merc with the Mouth himself (and executive producer) Ryan Reynolds revealed the Zazie Beetz, from t.v. show Atlanta, has been cast as the mutant mercenary Domino. As is with Deadpool, Reynolds announced the casting in a creative way: Domino Effect. pic.twitter.com/ILEnTcW7fY — Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) March 9, 2017 This is a huge, potentially break out role for Beetz. Ryan Reynolds just hopped on Twitter to announce that Atlanta star Zazie Beetz, who plays Vanessa on Donald Glover’s critically beloved FX show, will play luck-twisting mercenary Domino in the upcoming Deadpool 2. Always happy to blur the line between himself and his beloved Merc With The Mouth, Reynolds made the announcement in a typically offbeat way, photoshopping Beetz’s head into an old Deadpool comic and spelling her name out with dominoes.

After months of searching, the Deadpool team has finally settled on the actress that will portray the mutant bounty hunter, Domino! You may know her as Van from FX's Atlanta!

Our favorite merc with a mouth/executive producer/star of Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds, took to twitter to post this crude picture. It's creative in that it uses dominoes to announce the actress playing Domino, but the execution is really off, as most people weren't sure what it said. Nevertheless, the dots do spell the name of our leading lady, Zazie Beetz.
Beetz is mostly known for her role as, Donald Glover's love interest/mother-of-their-child, Van in FX's Atlanta. Episode 6 of the first season of the Golden Globe winning comedy, entitled Value, Beetz has an entire episode dedicated to her character. If you haven't watch it, you should, it's...

Deadpool 2 has faced a myriad of speculation in regards to its casting. With most comic book movies, we’re often left wondering which characters will be present in the first place, so that’s often where our speculation ends. However, with Deadpool 2, there are two characters we knew for a fact would be around apart from the Merc with a Mouth himself: Cable and Domino.
Between Stephen Lang, Dolph Lundgren, Kyle Chandler, and David Harbour, fans have no shortage of potential actors to take on Cable. Similarly, the casting of Domino has also faced some false reports — most recently Janelle Monaé.
Well, after months of waiting and speculation, the gleeful troll on Twitter known as Ryan Reynolds (he also produces and stars in Deadpool 2) announced via the social media service who will be portraying the pale-skinned mercenary.

At long last, the casting for the role of the mercenary Domino in Deadpool 2 has finally been revealed. Zazie Beets, who plays Donald Glover's on-again, off-again girlfriend Van on the FX series Atlanta, has secured the role. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds revealed the casting news himself on Twitter:

A recent casting call described Domino like this:
Neena is a no-nonsense badass who rarely shows her feeling. Highly capable, supremely confident and armored in… well Armor… and bullet-proof sarcasm. But beneath her shell she’s still and vulnerable and some soft, beating remnant of her humanity remains intact.
I'm a big fan of Zeetz's work on Atlanta, and I'm excited to see her have the opportunity to step up in a huge movie like this. Recent rumors pegged Moonlight and Hidden Figures star Janelle Monae as the frontrunner for the part,...

Ryan Reynolds has made it official, via Twitter: Zazie Beetz, who stars in Donald Glover’s FX series Atlanta, has been cast as Domino in Deadpool 2. For the past month or so, the Deadpool 2 rumor mill has been operating at full tilt, churning out one speculative tidbit after another that resulted in a situation where Sienna Miller, MacKenzie Davis, Kerry Washington and Janelle Monae all became linked to the coveted role of Domino at one point or another. That search has now finally – finally! – reached its conclusion though.
Cutting through the noise today was the Merc With a Mouth himself, Ryan Reynolds, who announced the casting of Domino in the weirdest way possible. Per Twitter, the Canadian star confirmed that Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz has now landed the part of the deadly, gun-toting mercenary, who will be sharing the screen with Deadpool and the as-yet-uncast Cable very soon indeed. Early 2018, perhaps?

Atlanta breakout Zazie Beetz will play Domino in the upcoming Deadpool sequel.
Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, made the announcement Thursday via Twitter, with the caption "Domino Effect."
In Marvel's comic book mythology, Domino is a mercenary who mostly works on the side of the good guys. Debuting in the same issue as Deadpool himself (1991's New Mutants No. 98), she is another survivor of a government program to create the ultimate soldier. Instead of adamantium claws or hyperactive healing powers, she can affect probability itself, creating "good luck" for herself and those around her — something she's put to use serving alongside Cable,...
