The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were handed out in Los Angeles last night (September 12), just a week ahead of the Andy Samberg-hosted Primetime Emmy Awards event.
HBO scooped the highest number of awards, with Game of Thrones and Queen Latifah's Bessie among the major winners.

The Golden Globe Awards airing on NBC Sunday night suffered a slight ratings dip from last year’s ceremony, according to preliminary numbers — a downtick that’s softened by the fact that the 2014 show reached a 10-year high for the awards presentation.
Sunday night’s Golden Globes averaged a 12.6 rating/19 share in household ratings from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen. That’s down from the 14.1/21 that last year’s show notched, which translated nationally to a 10-year high in both total viewers, with 20.9 million, and matched a 10-year high in the key 18-49 demographic.
