This episode falls apart compared to the previous few episodes. Previous 3-4 episodes were much better and "necessary".
The fishermen are brought to justice by Dhritrashtra and the Pandavas are introduced.
There is a huge pothole. Bheeshma mentions that a king who has rightfully succeeded the throne and the ritual of "Rajya-abhishek" has been conducted on him, has the supreme authority and his decisions are a binding. Whereas, it is stated in the original as well as in the previous episodes that Dhritrashtra was only a substitute king and thus, no Rajya-abhishek was performed upon him. Hence, rendering the first half of the episode totally unnecessary! Proceeding further, Satyawati finally gets to perform, and she does just fine.
Coming to the Pandavas introduction, first to be introduced is Arjuna, who depicts his supreme archery skills even at such a tender age. Though his firing an arrow at his introduction was non-understandable. The child artist playing Ajuna is just fine. Then Nakula and Sahadeva are introduces, who are just adorable. Only thing is, they really don't seem 15 years old. well actually they are not!, but due to the wrong timing of the time-skip, one is forced to believe that they are 15! Then comes Bheema, who is actually the best of the lot. The actor paying Bheema is convincing and good. Finally, Yudhistra is revealed, who I think was the worst of the lot, and could have been much much better. The skinny actor playing Yudhistra has completely mistaken Yudhishtra's calmness. Could have been much better.
The director and editor again fail to notice the little things which matter. During the fishermen scene one of them can be clearly seen laughing. And in the Pandavas scene Bhima is scene rolling a huge boulder downhill where it should roll itself down.
Direction: Below average.
Script. Bad.
Acting: Praneet is good, Anoop was better in the previous episodes, the actor playing Bhima is good.
Music: Good.
An unnecessary episode, and why doesn't any one age?
