If you can say one thing about the director, than it's that he's consistent. Now you could argue, I shouldn't be judging after just watching two of his movies. But if you consider the time span between those movies, than I think it's a fair estimate to make. He does try to go places visually (no pun intended), but everything including plot character design is let down by performances that could best be described as stale.

Movies are Illusions as it is, the birth of this sprung from the Illusion that it would be a good idea to just run wild. Than again, giving your "actors" a blank page and brainstorming has worked before. And for some apparently this works too. And if you actually can see past all the flaws and enjoy the obvious here, than that is good for you. Low budget film making is now easier than ever, there has to be something special about a movie to attract a crowd. It can be nudity (this movie contains some), it can be a really good idea (everyone is connected somehow). But the execution is still very important. If you fail at that ... not even a cameo/joke at the end will help you roll out of it ... no pun intended
