- Danny grumpily leaves his daughter's class' annual beach cleanup when a dog's nose finds a naked male corpse locked in a car booth, wrapped in plastic. Five-O works out it probably happened during one of a series of break-ins, and having caught ex-con scout Tim Sapoli establishes a pattern of prospective victims. While checking these, Chin inadvertently stumbles upon the perp, Gary Nathan. He's a states-wandering serial killer who collects severed fingers from his tortured victims, whom FBI Special Agent Rebecca Conway suspects having moved to Oahu, hence joins the team, speculating why he started killing men. Meanwhile Chin desperately tries everything to prevent himself and the killer's girlfriend, who was also dragged into the cellar for being nosy, being tortured to death.—KGF Vissers
