These are few seconds from the original Italian broadcast of Formula One 1979 French Grand Prix, with the epic battle for the second place between Gilles Villeneuve and René Arnoux, commented by the famous voice of journalist Mario Poltronieri.
"Molte Miglia", the name of the race as seen at the beginning, is a clear reference to the "Mille Miglia", a classic endurance race which took place in Italy from 1927 to 1957, crossing half of the country from Brescia to Rome and back.
