- Destiny Rumancek: I know a grift when I see one. You find yourself a poor, little, rich boy, you park your car in front of his house and then you get your partner to ram it into the ditch. I bet you weren't even in the car when it happened.
- Miranda Gates: I don't have a partner.
- Destiny Rumancek: You show up at rich boy's door, "Oh, I have a scratch on my head. I've had a terrible accident." He takes you in and then you worm your way into the sack and give it to him like he's never had it before. "Oh, daddy! Oh, you're so big! Oh, I'm coming so hard - "
- Miranda Gates: [interrupting] Fuck you!
- [tries to walk away]
- Destiny Rumancek: [blocks her path] "I think I'm gonna explode!" You get him all cranked up, working him, then you start looking around for somebody to drive him crazy with jealousy with. This is where you get lucky.
- [points at Miranda in the chest]
- Destiny Rumancek: 'Cause you find yourself a guy with soulful eyes, who just happens to work at the repair shop. So you use repair shop boy as your patsy. I mean, it's almost too easy.
- [laughs]
- Destiny Rumancek: But what you don't know is, but there are two things you don't know. One, Roman is a whole pile of evil shit that you even begin to understand. Two, Peter has a tender heart, and a cousin who loves him, and if you hurt him, I will put so much pain on you, you will never get well.
- Miranda Gates: I gotta go.
- Destiny Rumancek: Hey, you saw an opportunity and you worked it. I get that. I've done worse, trust me.
- [laughs]
- Destiny Rumancek: It's a rough world and a girl's gotta make a buck. But you, girlfriend, gotta go make it somewhere else.
- [puts an arm around her and starts ushering her to the door]
- Destiny Rumancek: So I'm just telling you this for your own good, Miranda. So go pack up your stuff, hit the road, and don't you ever come back here.It will end very badly for you if you don't.
- [kisses the side of her head]
- Anna: [to Olivia] I'm being usurped, madam. The little whore has taken over care of the baby.
- Dr. Galina Zheleznova-Burdukovskaya: I know not what this talk is of school and dogs.
- Dr. Johann Pryce: Glowworm, you've lost your glow. But you found your voice. I'm so proud of you. I never gave up hope.
- Roman Godfrey: [about to undergo his first treatment] Is there nothing you can do to control the pain?
- Dr. Johann Pryce: Think happy thoughts.
- Andreas Vasilescu: Every moment without you will be torture.
- Destiny Rumancek: Oh, I'm sure you'll survive.
- Andreas Vasilescu: The true warrior runs today and lives to fight another day.
- Dr. Galina Zheleznova-Burdukovskaya: [to Olivia referring to Johann] He is a dog who eats his own feces and thinks it's sirloin steak.
- Dr. Johann Pryce: [to Olivia] Roman has decided to cast away his greatest power. He'll be a docile as a kitten. Much much easier for us to manage. And let's call a spade a spade. He loathes you with every fiber of his being.
- Miranda Gates: [after "beating" Loisa at arm wrestling] It's like my uncle Farley always used to say. "It's not how you do a thing, it's getting it done."
- Peter Rumancek: And what did he do?
- Miranda Gates: He dropped a cinderblock on his foot and he collected disability for the rest of his life.
- [laughs]
- Norman Godfrey: For Christ's sake, Pryce, will you just for once in your life shut the fuck up and listen?
- Dr. Johann Pryce: I'm shutting the fuck up and listening as per your instructions.
- Dr. Johann Pryce: How badly is she injured?
- Norman Godfrey: Nothing the great and terrible Pryce can't handle.
- Dr. Johann Pryce: Soon you will leave the world of Upirs to take your place among the world of men.
- Roman Godfrey: [strapped to the operating table] No.
- Dr. Johann Pryce: You may feel some... minor discomfort. But you're nervous system's configured in such as way that it is essentially impossible for any anesthesia to mitigate the unpleasantness. And I need you responsive and conscious during the treatment.
- Miranda Gates: It may be that when we no longer know what to do, we have come to our real work And that when we no longer know which way to go, we have come to our real journey. The mind that is not baffled is not employed. The impeded stream is the one that sings.
