Sex & Nudity

  • A man and woman kiss for a few seconds in the movie.

Violence & Gore

  • Several people are shot. Blood is sometimes visible, but in small amounts.
  • A woman is seen with burns/scars on one side of her face.
  • A woman sees her 18-year-old son lying on a table in a hospital, fighting for his life after he's been shot in a drive-by. A good amount of blood is seen on his face and body, and he later dies.
  • A house is blown up, killing a number of people inside. Nothing graphic is seen.

Profanity

  • Typical R-level language, with "fuck" and its derivatives28 times scattered throughout, but not used constantly. Other milder language (shit, asshole, hell, etc.)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several scenes in which large glasses of red wine are consumed
  • During a nightclub scene there are many drinks visible
  • A woman is seen taking pills (presumably antidepressants or another psychiatric drug) after her son dies.
  • The plot involves drug dealers, but no drugs or drug use are seen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This was a great movie! I highly recommend it. The movie was really good and unsettling. I would say that it's fine for 14-15+
  • The movie is about 2 mothers seeking revenge after both of their sons were killed. Some scenes may be intense to watch, nothing graphic is shown though.
  • The twist could be unsettling for some.
