Phillip has to retrieve data from ARPANET whilst Nina faces the Polygraph test.
I enjoyed this episode for the interesting details about the ARPANET, the character twists and how it creates intrigue for what is sure to be explosive events to come.
The story was quite plot driven and tech-heavy with it's glimpse into a future that (as I type an online review) we all know will evolve into the the Information Age we live in today. Mixed in with this was Nina and her date with the lie-detector, which also has a strong build up and very interesting aftermath.
All of this leaves many characters in an intriguing place, particularly Nina who is fast becoming one of the most compelling characters on the show. Is she for one side or the other, or is she merely a very efficient survivor who will play both sides to her advantage when necessary? For now I'm going for the latter, but I'll probably be proven wrong!
Many potentially dramatic situations are set up with characters like Lucia, Larrick, Kate, Duluth and even Henry seemingly on dodgy ground given some of the behaviour they are displaying.
All performances are excellent as ever with Annet Mahendru for me being the most memorable, whilst the cinematography and editing are also strong, conveying the story in a visual way.
