You don't have to believe this that JFK actually received the fatal shot as a sheer freak mishap to watch this documentary. It's, likely, as good as any of the many theories none of which can be proved this many years later. In just about 40-minutes this film does a credible job of pushing forward the often talked about possibility that JFK was killed by someone other than Lee Harvey Oswald. The film does a very plausible job of eliminating Oswald as the kill shot perpetrator even as it doesn't exonerate him from being involved.
JFK's Secret Killer: The Evidence is an Australian production. It centers around retired master detective Colin McLaren's recent forensic investigation. Even as this investigation occurs nearly 50-years on it does a credible job with an extreme cold case by using all available confirmed testimonies, many discounted or ignored by The Warren Commission. While McLaren believe the Warren Commission did get the single bullet theory correct, he further shows the committee decided to go for a whitewash by both actions and in actions. McLaren brings many of these covered over testimonies to the front. He uses a fair bit of the more telling 1997 testimonies to further his belief that JFK wasn't actually killed by Oswald, but by a freak accidental shooting by a secret service agent named Hickey.
I recommend all parties who have doubts over Oswald as being the murderer of JFK. You don't have to believe what is exposed here to, at the least, believe there was another shooter. As for who that shooter was this film does a good job in presenting a very possible scenario. We'll never know the real story behind the death of JFK. It's truly impossible at this late date, but I wasn't at all a believer in the possibility of the Secret Service playing this role. I am now even as I'm far from certain. What I am more certain about is that Oswald, even if he attempted to kill JFK, was not the actual assassin.
