Who Built and Carved the Coffin
claudio_carvalho14 January 2019
Neeva calls Mr.Luss to tell that his children are at her home and he asks her to bring them back home on the next morning. Out of the blue, he and his cab driver are attacked by the vampires and he runs inside his house where he has a surprise. On the next morning, Neeva´s daughter forces her mother to take the children back home and they will find what happened the previous night. Meanwhile, Jim serves as a bait to Eichhorst in the subway while Eph, Nora and Setrakian try to catch the powerful vampire.

"For Services Rendered" is a reasonable episode of "The Strain", where the viewer learns who built and carved the coffin. There is a new character, a lead vampire, and the sequel of the story without any surprise. My vote is seven.

The Strain episode 7 "For services rendered", captivating.

Warning: Spoilers
The Last line was mind blowing, "Do not touch her, she is corrupted" nailed it!! The strain has been a good build up so far. You can really notice how much expensive this show must be, for instance all the different locations the plot occurs and not to forget its in New York City. So about the context, a little slow paced, but really captivating. And if you're a keen follower of these kind of shows, you'll probably find it a little predictable, but that's okay. You'll see a new group of hunters at the very end and that was something that has kept me on the hook. So hoping to see more action in the next episode. So far, well not bad.

Warning: Spoilers
Nevee saved the kids whose mother is one of the survivors of the plane incident but his own daughter got shot by the vampire team who seems to be killing the turned ones. Setrakian shot Eichorst in the subway station and it turns out he carved the coffin back in nazi Germany for Eichorst. Jim joined the team of Setrakian, too but his wife Sylvia refused. Gus and Felix are in custody and Felix is turning.

Wow. Mind blowing episode

The Strain is definitely becoming a big hit. This episode proves it. It had a lot of events happen from having some more Abraham and Thomas backstory to the introduction of vampire bounty hunters. Vampire bounty hunters? Yes.

The episode started off with a part from the book which I thought was very well done. Something happened though that was different than the book, which proves that the book and the show are two very separate works. I'm interested to get to the part of the first book with the vampire bounty hunters and learn more about them, if they're in the first book.

Excited for episode 8. Season 1 is getting to the end and then we'll have to wait for the next season.

Season 2 seems like it will focus more on the survivors adjusting to New York after the infection ends. Maybe a get rid of as many vampires as we can while we search for The Master season? That'd be good to me.

Reaction / Review for The Strain Season 1 Episode 7: Episode 6 was great and I gave it a rating of 8.6/10. Wow, Setrakian made the Master's coffin? Fascinating. Jim's wife left, I wonder if he is going to ever see her again. Jim is an interesting character. It sucks that Felix is sick, I really like the character, he is kind and friendly, a decent dude. The conversations between Eichorst and young Setrakian are fascinating, love it. Right now for me Setrakian and Eichost are the best and most interesting characters. Who is that new character, he looks like a vampire but he seems to be good, is he a half-blood or something? Interesting. Wow what and ending and an amazing episode overall. Loved it! My rating is 9.5/10.
