Don't know where to start with this film... It mentioned somewhere that this is an example of (one of) the best in British cinema! God help us if that's the case! The film was below average, with below average acting and many obvious goofs/impossibilities in the film.
The reviewers who have said that fake accounts have been created to artificially increase the rating of the film have really got a case. Simply awful! The plot??? Well - please don't let me start on that!

Too many ideas crowd your attention in this tepid indie film

There are good indie films and then not-so-good ones. Welcome to Curiosity took on too much in its story line and was in need of a really good edit to condense and connect the inter-connected stories better. Amor Perros - the director Inarittu first film is a great example of several stories that intersect at one crucial moment, as well as his better known Traffic and 21 Grams. I thought the editing was quite spotty. This film doesn't stand up to British indie classics the 80's and 90's such as My Beautiful Launderette or Croupier, to name a few. Please watch these films, including Amores Perros (Known as Love Is a Bitch), to understand what I mean. Don't watch this film unless you have nothing better to do with your time. Some good ideas but poor script, editing and some lack-lustre acting, except for Someni.
Utter Rubbish

Definitely fake accounts hyping this movie up, this was the most boring, poorly scripted movie I've seen in a while.
Far too much going on at one time and nothing really connecting the storylines.
Average acting, average storyline.

Terrible acting, wasn't worth making

Why is this not billed as a comedy? It's hilarious. As is most of the acting. Ironic that one character gets killed by a piece of ham as there is plenty in it. That said, Kacey Clarke whose character did this stood out as probably the best in it.
I particularly enjoyed the way O'ar Pali managed to balance those two big caterpillars above her eyes throughout without dropping them though.

This was just not a great movie. It was like the UK, was like "If Hollywood can do it so can we"! Although they failed. The characters and story were interesting enough to carry you till the end but the acting was just awful! They could not even FAKE being gangsters, it was sad. I do not recommend this movie even if you have some time to kill. Also, stupid ending with none of the stories really connecting in the right way. Plus side, was there were two good twists, but that was IT!
Great piece of British Indie

If you're expecting a Marvel/Star Wars Any other type of franchise blockbuster then this film is not for you... But if you want to see some genuine creativity and thought provoking story telling with great performances then this film has a lot to offer! It's refreshing to see what can be done without a multi million dollar budget and Tom Hardy/Hanks/Cruise. MI:Fallout doesn't need or appreciate your support and attention, but films like this do and have much more to offer in return!
Cracking Independant movie!

Lee Hunting, a serial killer, flees from an asylum. There is a hunt on in the town of Curiosity for the killer. The film is divided into subplots, some of which don't come together. There is the story of a beer distributor who picks up a hitchhiker named Lewis. There is a female walking along the highway. There is a group of people planning a robbery. A boy on a bicycle thinks the gardener is a serial killer. There is a man who shows up late in the film with "Lee" tattooed on his arm.
The film moves along between the subplots as separate stories. I found the stories interesting and was waiting for them to tie together. Some did, some did not.

Antidote to American Summer Blockbusters

Well worth seeing for a number of outstanding performances, brooding cinematography and score, all supporting a pacey story-line scattered with dark humour that momentarily defuses the building tensions.
This is further proof of what a British Indie film can do on on a relative shoestring.
Whilst you felt some of the sub-plots were not explored or interwoven as deeply as they might be, the ultimate impression is admiration for an Indie film punching well above its weight, that held the audience throughout and that has potential for a future cult following.

I love Indie films so I decided to give this a go the other night. I had forgotten the name and remembered and came to see if I could decipher the ending? I almost turned it off about 15 min in and then suddenly I was enjoying it. "Spoilers". The girl was the serial killer? Correct. I knew that that tom was him about 15 min after they met. The gardner? I don't get that part how the boy goes into his place and the ending? Other wise I thought it pretty good because I forgot about turning it off and then Boom was the end.
Good little movie

Interesting movie. As stated, there are several different story lines (the crooks, the brother and sister, Lee, the paperboy and the gardener, and the beer distributor. Some of the story lines come to a conclusion, and some are left open. Whether or not you like this is more up to you. The movie moves between the present and the past several times, and sometimes it helps explain what is going on, and sometimes the clips are so short that they are confusing. I may have missed it, but I am still not sure what happened to Molly.
What made me give this movie a 6/10 was that I really liked several of the characters, and wanted to see what would happen to them.

A really good British indie thriller with unexpected twists

A *lot* crammed in to just 90 minutes. This is a film that aims much bigger than its budget and for the most part succeeds. Richard Blackwood as a bad guy probably steals the show but the rest of the cast are strong too, with Call the Midwife's Reverend Tom (Jack Ashton) and Good Karma Hospital's Ruby (Amrita Acharia) cast in very different roles. Powerful score and slick cinematography.
Great start up Film....

Such a great concept behind this film - crowd funded - shame it is getting trashed by people who do not look at the bigger picture. Am thoroughly chuffed to have watched it - enjoyed it immensely and look forward to their next project which will only be bigger and better I am sure. Its really not as bad as some ignoramous' are spouting...
