‘Level Up’ Exclusive Clip: A Hardcore Gamer Enters a Twisted Scheme To Save His Kidnapped Girlfriend
Though the harshest critics of video games claim that they have no real-life value, sometimes they can come in handy. The new British thriller “Level Up” innately understands how those skills might be put to good use in a terrifying situation. The film follows Matt (Josh Bowman) and Anna (Leila Mimmack), a young couple living in London whose relationship is on the rocks. While Anna is starting her career, Matt struggles to find purpose in life, spending most of his time playing video games. One morning, masked thugs break into his apartment and kidnap Anna, but not before locking Matt into a mysterious vest. Now, Matt must follow a series of complicated, dangerous instructions to deliver a package somewhere on the streets of London in order to save his girlfriend. Watch an exclusive clip from the film below.

Although this year’s most memorable performances were delivered by women, there are many actors that deserve being recognised for the good job they’ve done in the year 2014. Here is BollySpice’s list of the top 10 actors who wowed us with their performances!
10. Varun Dawan (Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Main Tera Hero)
This year the actor of Student of the Year explored his most romantic side. With his loveable portrayal of the boy who has to overcome numerous obstacles to win his beloved’s heart, the actor also won many hearts among the audience with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. For a number of years Bombay Sapphire have championed the work of independent film makers with its Imagination Series film competition. Headed up by Oscar-winner Geoffrey Fletcher the competition had its greatest success at this year’s BAFTA awards when James W. Griffiths and Sophie Venner won the Best Short Film award for their stunning Room 8 (which you can, and should, see here).
This week the winning directors converged on the Tribeca Film Festival for an event celebrating the last round of winning entrants and their films. We had the chance to speak with the directors about their influences and their journey to the final film with the Imagination Series.
Film 1: Reflections
Director: Anthony Khaseria
