Sex & Nudity

  • A character is stripped of all of their clothing and thrown into an arena. When they land in the arena, there a split second flash of the characters somewhat blurred genitals as he stands up (seen from a first-person perspective).
  • Women outside of an arena are often shown shirtless with patterns on their breasts. In cutscenes at the arena they are frequently shown and one voice line involves the phrase "and stop looking at my boobs".
  • A character who is depicted as a Christian in the game refers to the corruption of the village because of prostitution. However, prostitutes are never seen in the game.
  • Main character is seen shirtless. This's seen for about two seconds.
  • Towards the end of the game, tribal men (male) are seen shirtless
  • During a mission later in the game, there's a cutscene that leads to the arena where girls with revealing clothes are seen. In order to play in the arena, you have to find those girls as they're permanent NPCs in the game.
  • When you loot guards, you can (very rarely) find suggestive items. It's only implied through text.

Violence & Gore

  • While healing, the player will see the themselves healing and bandaging wounds.
  • The game is relatively similar to Far Cry 3 but the villain is not nearly as crazy and violent as the villains in Far Cry 3 and the violence itself is toned down a lot.
  • Players can liberate fortresses of Pagan Min.
  • When skinning animals you pick up flesh and put it in a bag.
  • During the beginning Pagan Min (The main antagonist) brutally stabs one of his soldiers with a fountain pen blood splattering onto his face. Also, there is another scene where does he brutally stabs another man with a fork.
  • Mild blood sprays and blood puddles are shown after killing enemies. Sometimes there are pools of blood under people in cutscenes.
  • Players can engage in combat missions and use different weapons and their environment to defeat their enemies.
  • Players can also perform stealth takedowns (i.e., sneaking up on enemies and quickly stabbing them in the neck, chest etc.)
  • Battles are highlighted by brief blood effects.
  • In the mission "city of pain" Ajay has to free civilians who are held hostage by Pagan's men.
  • There is a lot of killing towards animals, as you have to hunt animals to craft items.
  • In one part of the game, a character is zapped with a taser. Nothing graphic is shown.
  • The violence isn't as brutal as call of duty and such
  • Throughout the game you can kill elephants and other animals that are friendly. This may be offensive to animal lovers.

Profanity

  • Strong language through out few f words in the beginning but moderate after
  • While driving in vehicles, there is a radio personality that uses several derogatory terms referring to bowel movements including "taking a shit."
  • A minor character uses the word "dick" at one point in the game
  • One use of the word 'hell'. However, this is only heard if the player triggers a hidden ending to the game.
  • Pagan's guards use ample amount of abusive language in both Hindi and Cantonese.
  • Semi-frequent uses of fuck throughout the game, 2 uses of cunt and some other profanity.
  • The phrase "shut up you cunt" is said by Yogi.
  • At the very beginning of the game, Pagan Min uses the S-word multiple times in cutscenes. This can be avoided by skipping the very first cutscenes in the game (not possible in the console version). During Gameplay, words like "damn" and "shit" are heard infrequently.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In a string of side missions, you can interact with Reggie and Yogi, two stoners who give you experimental joints of their own creation to find out what effect they give you.
  • Throughout the game there is multiple opium fields and drug warehouses all around the game. None of the drugs can be used by the character you play as but you can sell neddles and drugs you find on bodies and loot chests for money

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This game is not quite as violent as ''Far Cry 3''.
  • Pagan Min is known for his flamboyant dress, eccentric violence, and generally, unconcerned approach even to highly climactic events. He is a rather soft-spoken sort of person, rarely expressing emotions stronger than minor annoyance unlike Vaas Montenegro who was ultimately violent and psychopathic.
  • Young children might be scared of elephants.
