  [pauses] 

  The Doctor : At least at a small scale, say a door handle.

  Clara Oswald : So what's that then? A de-flattener?

  The Doctor : We're *not* calling it a de-flattener!

  [Hands the device to Clara] 

  The Doctor : This should be able to restore dimensions. See what I called it?

  Clara Oswald : [reads the symbols on the machine]  Two D is. Two Dee Iz?

  The Doctor : No. Twodis. It's called the Twodis.

  [sigh] 

  The Doctor : Why'd I even bother?

• Rigsy : You never did tell me your name.

  The Doctor : [through Clara's earpiece]  No time to fraternise. Come on, get rid of him.

  Clara Oswald : I'm, um... I'm the Doctor.

  The Doctor : Don't you dare!

  Clara Oswald : Doctor Oswald.

  [clears throat] 

  Clara Oswald : But you can call me Clara.

• Rigsy : [looks into the tiny Tardis]  It's bigger. On the inside.

  The Doctor : You know, I don't think that statement's ever been truer.

• The Doctor : Okay, let's start with Pi. Even in the flat world they'll have circles. I don't mean edible pie, I mean circular pi, which I also realise would be the edible pie, anyway...

• Rigsy : So, uh, what are you a doctor of?

  The Doctor : [through Clara's earpiece]  Of lies.

  Clara Oswald : Well, I'm usually quite vague about that. I think I just picked the title 'cause it makes me sound important.

• Fenton : And who are you when you're at home, love?

  Clara Oswald : [shows him the psychic paper]  Health & Safety. This subway is unsafe. Everyone needs to leave right now.

  Fenton : This is blank. Try again, sweetheart.

  The Doctor : [in Clara's earpiece]  What?

  Clara Oswald : [simultaneously]  What?

  The Doctor : It takes quite a lack of imagination to beat psychic paper.

• The Doctor : Now listen, you're going to need this.

  [hands her the sonic screwdriver and psychic paper through the tiny Tardis door] 

  Clara Oswald : Ow, wow! This is an honour. Does this mean I'm you now?

  The Doctor : No, it does not. So don't get any ideas.

• The Doctor : [through her earpiece]  Clara, do you want the good news or the bad news?

  Clara Oswald : [shouting while running]  We're in the bad news! I'm living the bad news!

• The Doctor : He's a pudding brain. Worse than that, he's a fluorescent pudding brain.

• The Doctor : It's true that people with hope tend to run faster, whereas people who think they're doomed...

  Clara Oswald : Dawdle. End up dead.
