Family Affair

No pun intended - actually I could have called it actor affair. I am surprised by some of the people involved in this. On the other hand, everyone needs money, right? Even if it is just a small part, you can Wish(master) someone to it ... ah yes another pun.

Those things aside, the movie is subpar at best, but the surprises in casting and some odd choices in story development made me kind of like this. Not enough to actually think it is good or anything like that. But strange enough to be peculiar ... maybe this is true with you too.

Since reviews are supposed to be bigger again (I must have missed the memo), I'll add a few lines here. I guess some destinction to other sites is always good. Something that could have been true of the movie too .. it isn't really. But that again I do watch a lot of stuff - and rate nicely most of the time as I have been accused - so there is that too.

Horrible

I cannot believe I paid $1.99 to watch this! The acting was terrible and the script was worse. I wouldn't watch this movie again even if it was free. Do not waste a good night on this low budget piece of crap.

So much cheese but no bacon.

This is possibly the worst movie I tried to watch in 2018.

The dialog is ridiculous and forced. It was nearly impossible to watch. I put a bout 30 minutes in before pulling the plug.

I hope someone had fun making this and did it as a high school project because if this was intended to be a serious production it fell way short.

At times the bad acting and stunted dialog is almost funny... but not funny enough to actually watch all the way through.

Lame-o indie horror

Warning: Spoilers
PRETTY FINE THINGS is a lame-o indie horror flick in which an everyday landlord turns out to be a murderous serial killer with designs on the nubile young women living in one of his properties. It's the kind of dragged-out film which spends a great deal of time in the company of said young women and, yes, there are the expected underwear scenes and little else. The only amusing thing about this - for UK viewers - is that the killer is the spitting image of BBC2's MASTERCHEF judge, the irritatingly smug Gregg Wallace.
