How We Met is a fun low budget movie. Most of the movie is a flashback and it has one of the plots where something simple like a blind date spins wildly out of control. I found the twists and turns and complications amusing. And I enjoy when filmmakers and actors can put together an entertaining movie on a low budget. Naturally, there is some rawness to it due to the low budget but if you can overlook that and just enjoy the movie for what it is--a cleverly written action romantic comedy spoof--you will enjoy it.

Not bad but not good either

I have to say that this movie had a really interesting plot. Two people guy and a girl meet on a blind date that starts out on the wrong foot and goes down hill from there. The F bomb is dropped like it's world War 3 but funny thing is the one guy (Chadwick Hopson) only says it twice in the whole movie. I've seen "Blind Date" which is a disaster after disaster movie and was pretty funny. This one doesn't even try that hard to be funny. I thought it had one funny line in the whole movie yet I watched till the end hoping it'd get better. Movie just doesn't go anywhere and when something does happen it's a only in the movies thing. I'm not that hard on movies and enjoy them for what they are, 90+ minutes of entertainment to escape the real world. But this one makes you wonder why, I know it was just a movie but at least make it somewhat believable.
The stunts were purely second rate, the writing was poor the casting could have been better and the director should have been more professional. I gave it 2 star's because the movie just doesn't hold up long. Even the so-called disasterous blind date wasn't all that bad. The actor's were walking stiff, the dialogue was poor even the end of the movie went overboard. Plain and simple this movie fell and couldn't get going.
Chadwick Hopson who I watched in "The Last Descent" I thought he gave a pretty good performance. But in this on its like he wasn't in to the character all that much. He seemed to be boring as he progressed through the making of the movie. He nor any other cast including Iced-T doesn't stand out.
For a movie that doesn't try too hard to keep your attention is a good time waster. Save yourself the time and skip it.
