During filming of the snowy Glencoe scenes, life began to imitate art as on the 1st day the production vehicle were trapped in the snow and had to be towed out by a group of passing land rovers.
Before the 1st day of filming actors Kenny Boyle and Clare Sheerin had never met before. This was a deliberate decision by Director Ryan Hendrick to keep them apart and not get familiar with one another until the character meet. This enhanced their performances and brought across a real sense of tension and awkwardness on screen.
