- In one scene, a character is tortured. We do not see the actual torture, but his face is bloody and the music is intense.

- Near the end, the characters fight in an intense battle with Russian soldiers. Vehicles blow up, and many soldiers die. No blood.
- A young character throws a Molotov cocktail at a helicopter in flight, blowing it up.
- Several soldiers walk into a trap, where they are impaled by spears. Very quick scene, with no blood.
- Around a dozen American soldiers go into a tent. Three Chinese soldiers outside shoot into the tent. This scene is somewhat emotional, as all but one of the Americans are killed.
