The corrupt congressman João Ernesto Praxedes is the favorite in the dispute of the presidency of Brazil. His assessor Marcelinho is preparing him for the debate on the second round of the election and he is summoned to a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry in the Congress. When his grandmother is near death, João visits her and she curses him to be honest and always tell the truth.
