James Gordon: Why did you kill your mother, Jerome?
Jerome Valeska: Oh, you know how mothers are. She just... kept... pushing. And I'm like, "Fine, Mom. Be a whore. Be a drunken whore even. But don't be a *nagging*, drunken whore." You know? "Don't come yell at me to do the dishes if you've been banging a clown in the next room!"

Why...so...seriously awesome?
Oh my god, yes! Finally. Things are really looking up. As the trailer shows (so this really shouldn't count as a spoiler, but if IMDb puts me on the blacklist then whatever,) Bruce finally steps into the next level but is still far behind becoming the Batman, Fish Mooney- well, honestly I don't really care for Fish. I mean, Jada is very talented and very pretty but Mooney is not a very impressive villain. The only thing that I like about her is she reminds me of Ertha Kitt as Catwoman. They both share the same level of overthetop evil. And I like the idea that a female crime boss has sort of taken over Gotham for a change. Women are power too, ya know. But honestly, for me, the greatest thing to ever happen in this episode is...wait for it...drum roll, please...even though you can't really hear it...are you ready? The birth of the JOKER! Yes! Joker is finally here. And I am so happy to see him make an appearance on this show instead of being an easter egg. The guy playing him looks like a Joker but it kind of looks like he's trying to be Jack Nicholson's Joker but Joker nonetheless. And it sounds like he's gotten the laugh right. Please, let him become a big part in the show like Penquin and Riddler. Please!
