one of many films about friendship between two boys. confessions, differences ,events. and the revelation about the other, different by the first expectation. nothing new, nothing bad. only a nice film. and an only sin - the end. an end who seems be forced by the duration of film, almost brutal but beautiful in the economy of film. but the feeling something missing remains and the excuse about a short film is not the most inspired. the good point is the beautiful performance of Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick who defines in the right manner the desire, expectation and resignation of Jack. Dante Palminteri does a decent work but his role seems be a burden to be thrown. short, a nice film.

And so?

Warning: Spoilers
That a boy can be gay and have a crush on a brat is not a plot. Nothing happens in this well-photographed and sensitively acted drama. That a young teen can be gay is no surprise to most of us. Someone should tell the writer.
