Dark Circus is a mind-bending dark fantasy that begins in modern day Berlin where we meet Johanna. Beset with her own self-harming inner demons, Johanna's mundane world begins to disintegrate when she is fired from her job. Just as she thinks that things can't get any worse she is abducted into Berlin's dark parallel underworld. In the bizarre world that exists below the city Johanna finds self fulfilment amongst the curious people and the strange situations that she finds herself thrust into.
