During the post production process the master film image was deliberately degraded to create a more exploitation 80's look and feel as the original image was too clean, crisp and clear.
Lou Ferrigno performed all his own action scenes in the film.
In a 2015 interview Lou Ferrigno (aged 63 at the time) explained he was taught all the action techniques used on screen in INSTANT DEATH by the Director Ara Paiaya.
Ara Paiaya trained Lou Ferrigno in martial arts.
The film has been heavily cut in some territories and streaming platforms due to the graphic scenes of rape and violence. However the best version remains the full uncut version which is 84mins. The film is also known as Rage.
